Well I have just over 1,000 miles on Polaris. Thing has eaten 4 belts so far. And it is a bi$%h to change them. And in the boonies you just slap a new belt in and hope it last to get you home so you can pull the clutch's and get the blown belt parts out. I've been lucky and been on the road during every blowout. If in water or mud or snow it would really be a pain to change. Then you need a new dust gasket every time it blows, so yup it just blows to change belts. And I'm not hard on my machine at all and do the break in which is also a pain in the rear.
