OEM Front Bumpers mid Dec, i've had one ordered since mid-Oct.Any clue when the winch mount and wiring will ship, front bumper also?
I have purchased a front brush guard/bumper so my wife can see the front corners of the 1000. The winch mount by Honda has the winch mount and includes a wiring harness with relay and option for 6 switches. Winch control , wiper, heater, dome light ,back up light and home made turn indicators, etc. I will mount my 2nd Bat with the positive connected to the winch relay as the original Batt will be. The Ground is a new connection to the frame and is secured with a wing nut. I can unground the Batt with ease and leaves me The original Batt to run radio etc. If the stock Batt goes dead I attach the 2nd Batt to ground and start the Honda. When usingthe winch it provides a more constant voltage. I think this is an inexpensive wiring method and should not hurt the warranty. Hope this helps.
I guess you win. If you need help out of the mud give me a call.Montana FYI, Switch plate/volt meter/wire harness does not come with the winch mount See part#'s below
Winch Mount MSRP $299.955; Pioneer-Honda Powersports
Switch plate/volt meter/wire harness MSRP $329.95; Pioneer-Honda Powersports
Where did you find a 6-switch panel from honda? I have the only one I could find that was offered by honda and its a 4-switch panel. The wiring, relays, and switch panel was also nearly $300 on top of the winch mount that I bought for nearly $300, not $300 for it all together.I have purchased a front brush guard/bumper so my wife can see the front corners of the 1000. you are right on the pricing, I never said $300 for both. . I'm wrong on the # of switches. Four not Six. I stand corrected. I should have been more careful on my post.Where did you find a 6-switch panel from honda? I have the only one I could find that was offered by honda and its a 4-switch panel. Oh ok, I thought you meant $300 for all and I was about to get upset with my dealer lol. The switch panel would be a lot better with 6 thoughyou are right on the pricing, I never said $300 for both. . I'm wrong on the # of switches. Four not Six. I stand corrected.
