P1000 KFI Winch Mount

Spoke to someone at KFI toady about their Pioneer 1K winch mounts. Was told that they're presently being molded and bent at this time with hopes of being available on the web site sometime next week.

I'll likely order one rather that fab one up, still waiting on my Camo Deluxe. I'll have a pile of parts by the time the Pioneer is here!

That's good news. The Honda is way to expensive. I think I'm gonna go with the 5k viper max winch. I've had good luck out of viper.

I had the Warn Pro Vantage 4500S on my 700 that was sold, bought another one for the PK1.

Does anyone have experience with viper wide spool winches and KFI mounts? Or, better yet, does viper work on a KFI mount? I don't see them on KFI's list, but that doesn't mean anything. I have had great luck with the motoalliance winches and their customer service and I would like to keep it that way.

Just checked the viper 5k.
It has a 3" x 4.88" bolt pattern.
KFI says it will mount to the plate.

That's great. Then I will order up the 5k. Thanks for looking into that. Motoalliance is sending me a winch plate to try. Hope it works; but if not at least I know KFI has one.

I'm not sure if it's better and I was actually between both brands you mentioned. For me, it came down to customer service and past experience. I have had a viper winch on all of my machines and they never let me down. And working with the folks at motoalliance has always been easy and they have always taken care of me.

Not exactly sure when I bought it, probably in Nov. Got it from Amazon for $650.00. Was the rebate contingent on buying directly from Warn?

Most of the viper come with winch mounts but only say for pioneer 700. I wonder if I should go ahead and get this mount since viper prolly doesn't have a winch mount for the p1000 yet?
