Honda Pioneer SIDE MIRRORS - Maverick Advantage - (video)

I just mounted up a set of Maverick Advantage side mirrors on my Pioneer 500. I'm honestly impressed by the product. They sell mirrors to fit all three Pioneer models. Maverick Advantage's design is simple and sturdy, and I love the tension adjustment nut on the swivel. These mirrors look nice and provide a large field of view. I first came across this brand two years ago when I was hunting for a mirror for my Honda Rancher. I ended up purchasing a unit from Maverick Advantage and it was perfect, so I went back to their website when I purchased this new 2018 Pioneer 500. I do not. But I can see where these could interfere with an upper door design.

Has anyone found a set of side view mirrors that work with the Pioneer 500 OEM soft doors?

I think it's possible these mirrors could work with the factory soft door if you don't mind swiveling back the mirrors every time you open/close the doors. The reason I say this - it looks like the factory soft doors will interfere with just about any mirror at the normal mirror position attached to the A-pillar. I don't think the rubber band clamps will interfere with the door, but the mirror might have to be pushed back, if you want to open the upper portion of the door all the way.

Unless you use the better designed Seizmik which has integrated mirror mounts.

Only Seizmik mirrors work with Seizmik upper doors. If you’ve got Honda uppers, I don’t know which mirrors will work for you. But hopefully somebody that knows will show up to help you. Good luck. And welcome to the forum.
