Im new to a sxs but i know i want a good windshield green one is plastic red one is glass any help in deciding would be great

as for your windshield, u need to decide if u want plastic or glass? Its a 50/50 toss up. I like many have the Super ATV flip, lots of versatility there. Keep in mind the rig gets hot in the summer. The more air the better when shes hot.

I have the Super ATV flip up because it flips all the way to horizontal. It spends 98% of its life up, only getting flipped down for rain or cold. It's plastic though so I have to be really careful with it. I wear a full coverage street helmet and can ride down into the 30's and still be comfy with it flipped up. To Remington's point - the first one had door lowers, the second one doesn't, they're too damn hot in the weather I ride in, including the 30's in mesh tennies.

We have about 2-3 weeks of warm-ish weather, 4-5 months of cooler weather & 6 months of winter......I have no use for a flip up 🤔

Had the super ATV flip up and liked it until it was to scratched up. Really like the EMP glass windshield. The vents work well for Michigan

How hot does it get I was looking at that same windshield you have with vents do they work

EMP Glass or Flip up are both great choices. If you ride more in hot weather flip up, if you ride in cool/cold/rainy go with EMP glass. I love my flip up. Pull in down when hit road, dust, rain, cold. Flip it up when going slower on trail and or it's hot out.

I almost picked up an EMP glass when Dells Deals had a special on them. It would be great to have to swap to for colder weather or when a lot of rain is expected.

S. Utah here, often ride when it's hot, the glass with flip up vents allows a nice blast of air and still cleans easy. No scratching or hazing after three years and over 9k miles; covered with dust, mud, even cow crap after every ride. If it gets too bad on the trail, I can squirt some water on it and squeegee it off without worrying about damage to plastic. In the extreme, poly-carbonate plastic shatters into large knifey looking stabby shards, safety glass shatters into smaller crumbs.

they don’t work good enough for June July and August in East Tennessee.
