I was looking for a spare tire and found a full set with nicer wheels.
I thought of switching out the set and keeping one of mine for a spare but then saw that all the tires were the same size 25 x 8 x 12.

Guessing that would be a problem. I am not interested in spending money just to end up putting it all back to oem but thought I would ask here if anyone had tried this and how it worked-or didn't

Same size on all 4 corners isn’t a big deal, 25x8 seems a little narrow non the rear of the 700, I would go 9 minimum.

Obviously, mods can be great if you have a plan but was a cheap option to nicer wheels.

It makes sense what you said, Texas, and I think you answered it for me.

I guess I will call some dealerships and start looking for take offs there. I haven't seen much of anything locally for a spare.

be more worried about whether they meet utv weight specs they sound like atv tires. 700 has 2k load rating plus 1500lbs machine most bias quad tires are 4-5 hundred pounds per tire, oem utv tires and aftermarket 1k and up

to each his own but always been on the wider is better side, ive done the pit drags when i had my prairie and won my class once, what really mattered was being able to be ahead before you get there, the guys with big tires are slow no matter how big a engine you had. the prairie i put 26inch mud lights on, and the lightest primary spring you could get. like drags light tires and wheels you get a quads length before you get in the water and the little difference in the water you arent going to make up

all good points. I am not wanting to dig down, I want to stay on top.

Thanks everyone, all good information. There is quite a bit of old info here and I particularly appreciate feedback after folks have had time to really try out their tires.

though for utvs weight is really the problem, always get 11 or 12 for the rear. i had the megas on the rhino and 9 front 11 rear, they were good until what ever was deeper than the bottom but mud and snow above the bottom got stuck alot any if the digger tires are that way. i like the mud lights for deeper stuff they tend to lift you up any of the tires that are wide and tractor pattern like those or outback bearclaw htr they seem better.
all 2wd stuff

Go 12 wide in the rear and 10 in the front
On 27s and you will be happy.
Machine is too heavy for 8s and it just don't look right.

We should all be ashamed for laughing about this.

What we should be doing is finding out what kind of glue is holding those heels in place.

That's the stuff that would hold our machines together without weld!

So who is she and where did she buy those heels?
