Original starter finally failed. I had trouble getting it off because the pinch nut was spinning too. I had to break the plastic coller and file down a wrench to get it off. I put in a neutron starter from Rocky Mountain. It’s loud and sounds like a mountain lion when it starts now.

For my first post on this forking want to thank Ehart 814 for this excellent post !
Although there were a few differences,all my nuts/bolts were 10mm, and I could not use 2 nuts this job went very easily. I would like to add one thing . As stated the hardest part of this job was wiggling the starter out , but I found that I could put a long screwdriver in from the front of the machine towards the back up against the starter and tap with a hammer and the starter popped right out ..hard to see .
