20 years of putting in for a Nevada desert bighorn and I finally got the tag! A lot of scouting, spotting, hiking, 90° down to 22°, a little snow, a little rain, falling down and damaging my scope, having another rifle brought out, and a final 18 hour day to bring it all to a close. Definitely one of the harder things I've done. Since I can't even apply for another 10 years (I'll be 70) and not likely to draw again before 90 I'll say this was a bucket list once-in-a-lifetime tag.

I've had so many pics of bears that I've quit saving them.

Still no luck bagging a deer here at camp. Saw two small 4pt and a one-antlered spike (and a fox) yesterday evening with @KyGal83.

Next try will be at my buddy's farm in a couple of days. His soybeans are out, neighbors' are still in. Should be about time for the bucks to start getting antsy. Thirteen stands/blinds set up between the two properties. Plus two stands that I did not skirt this year. One of them I prolly should before Modern Gun . . .

Or maybe you were rubbing your sweaty ass on those particular spots and it got them all excited to tear that ass up? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Protip…they leave prepackaged wieners alone…maybe next time out rub your wiener on it before you leave. 🤣🤣🤣

Going more mobile this year. Trying to not hit the same spot twice as is my usual MO. Didn't get out as early as I wanted as I've been F'n around with this new bow trying to get it tuned. It's close enough for now but the plan is to really tear into it in the off season.
