My P1000-5 Trail has i-4wd and sometimes it takes a long time to go into 4wd after moving the shifter, wondering if anyone has details on adjusting the cable at the front diff?
Cable adjust is right front diff.
Small adjustments go a long way.
After small adjustment, my I4 is almost instantaneous, in and out and on the dash.
Not to be the dick.., by becoming a lifetime or supporting member, you will get you an electronic copy of the service manual..
And then along with what they said ☝️ ☝️ ☝️
.
Page 50 in your Owners Manual.
"After changing the drive mode, drive several yards, make right and
left turns, and make sure the indicators work properly."

Have a good day
Thanks, I did miss that in the manual. Checked the cable adjuster earlier today and it looks good. I will give the wheel left-right manoeuvres a try next time I’m out.
Thats not being a Dick. Your pointing out useful info that he may otherwise had never known.
Only the woke sensitive crowd would think your being a dick and take it as offensive
