A slightly different mode of transportation but I've been through many of these areas along the Salmon River Valley in the Frank Church River Of No Return Wilderness and the Gospel Hump Wilderness. Sigh, I need to return....Enjoy.

If a good portion of the nation boycotted a company they’d loose so much revenue they’d be forced to abide, but people won’t do it. Think of all the Trump backers saying f*** you then, just won’t happen it’s too big an inconvenience.

Awesome, welcome!

I was thinking it'd be fun to have a ride with those here close by - meeting at some central location, like near Stanley, Copper Basin, or something. It sounds like there are a few members within a few hour drive out here.

Eagle, ID checking in... currently on the wait list for a 2021 p1k5.

Rode the IDBDR last year on my BWM 1200GS. Lots of great trails to explore.

Nice! We're thinking of getting a P1000-5 in the next couple of years. Blackfoot, ID here. Seems like there are a decent amount of Idahoans on the site.

I have close friends living in Saint Maries that I visit regularly. We float the St Joe every summer and hunt in the fall. No place like the panhandle!

@Raghorn did anyone plan a get together for any of those places? I've been to Stanley and Copper Basin twice, would be fun to meet up and ride and camp.

Not that I am aware of - summertime flew by! I know I am getting ready for some hunting trips this falls with my little P500. It would be cool to set up something here to meet up.

Yes it would. Not done with our hunting yet either. Still late deer season and bear season going on here.

A group ride in Idaho would be a ton of fun. Its a little far for me, but depending on the timing, I might be able to make something like that. I assume this season is out? I saw the Rockies were getting snow this week.

@100Acre will you be in Ideehoe for the winter or still back east?

The high country is done here - approaching Webster Pass, Colorado (12,114 ft.), from the north on Friday after a lite dusting. Those are snow clouds so it got deeper that night.

Descending toward Webster Pass from the south from Red Cone Peak (elev. 12,801). This was a pucker up descent.

I bet it was. I don't care too much for those down hill icy sliding out of control descents.
