I have an intermittent issue with my ‘21 P1000-5 LE where the i4wd warning light comes on when I brake hard, ie pulling a trailer and apply the brakes. I’ve already been through warranty claims for cable adjustments and even a locked up caliper where a bolt came loose and lodged between the pad and the rotor. The I4wd seems to be working perfectly except for this occasional, short term warning light which goes away after I turn the machine off.
My question - is this a normal quirk or is there still an I4wd issue lurking in the background. I would like to figure this out before I get out of warranty. Any insight appreciated.

Not positive but I'm under the impression that once a problem is reported under warranty, the warranty can't expire on that particular problem.

I have only experienced intermittent I-4WD warning light when voltage drops, electronics seem to be very sensitive in this manner even had the EPS light do the same. Probably less than 6 times in 10,300 miles. Systems always worked and after running / charging battery a bit went off with key cycle. Still on original battery 42 months of use 2018 P1K5LE.

my new Talon did this as soon as I rolled it off the trailer when I brought it home. Took it to the dealer the next day and they said after talking with the Honda specialist, the brake switch had to be set correctly.
