I mentioned Harley, but those retards put motor oil in the primary and transmission. Now who wouldn't argue that a transmission, primary w/clutch and a crankcase don't have entirely different properties...I'm a firm believer in gear lube on gears and motor oil in a crankcase.

Old school perhaps, but that's just me, otherwise, you're just asking for trouble...BUT it is cheaper to dump in one oil in all three holes and CHEAPER yet to just have one hole and gamble the MAJORITY of units sold make it out of the warranty period...It's all about the money and corporate profit.

the 2017 Honda crf250 does still have 2 oil chambers so 2 different oil change places but the Honda 450's for 2017 just has one drain plug on the bottom of the motor this for the engine and the transmission. this is true for both the R and the X model on the 450 for 2017.

Just a reminder guys my clutches were not burnt it was the residue off if the clutches that plugged my oil pump screen and valve body so keep an eye on your oil when changing it and if you replace your clutches flush your motor and valve body out it will take longer but it might save your motor

The old school Hondas would be lucky to get an oil change every 5 years and would run for 30. Things change I guess.

Yep I still have one an ole 91 300 4x4 it has run for ever and still starts ant and everytime you need it it just dont stop well HaHa never saw one that did
