Got the arm guards on and the heat/noise deflector under the seat.

The arms were a b**** until I realized I was a dumbass... taking the wheels off makes it sooooo much easier!

Man, they made me nervous!! Too much money not to protect the most beat on part! I went with the S&S Fabrication aluminum skids and a arm guards.. $750 shipped and powder coated. They're nice... they went on easy and I think they'll be more than fine.. I took an extra step and added dynamat to the top of them to quieten it down.. not sure how necessary that is but we'll see!

Still have lights to mount and plug in but everything is now wired as well.. got my radio and under seat blower going so I can at least use the thing.

Any thoughts or suggestions? They're basically just for tie downs when trailering. The rear bumper should hide them.

I would think any stress on those rops bars would weaken them tremendously. But who knows.

Why not just wrap your strap around the rops and choke it back to its self. Thats what i do. Plus those rings might be noisy bouncing and clanging through the trails

I did the last trip. But I had mud caked in there and I just didn't like it. I wrapped the the D before mounting.. I have the same rings on the front bumper and they don't rattle.
