anyone know what the difference is in the Honda brand windshield 'optical' vs. 'haricoat'? (besides $150)

optical is a waste of your money.hardcoat is much better.

Mine is 2 years old and has held up very well.Too bad your not closer to Illinois I have an extra almost brand new hardcoat one that I would sell but shipping costs are crazy on windshields.

I have the hard coat. Holding up well. Anybody know if windshield washer fluid will harm it? I think there might be alcohol in it to keep from freezing?

I have OEM Honda HardcoatTipout with ( Boat wiper & washer ) use Rainx Washer fluid only ( since 2009 on several SXS's1 rzr & the rest all Honda's) Never Any Problem or Reaction.
