I have two BOSS roll cage mounted cans and, believe me, then can be heard by back seat passengers. So I ended up buying the super atv flip out and Honda OEM roof. My next task is a sound bar. Just want something simple and I’m wondering if they can be mounted on the front bar with the flip out windshield? Worried on the middle bar that and rear passengers won’t hear it at all.
I would like to buy a donkey setup but I dont want to throw that much on a radio. HiFonics 10 speaker soundbar is 330 on amazon and im leaning that route.I have two BOSS roll cage mounted cans and, believe me, then can be heard by back seat passengers.
But I do like the donkey setups.
It's only money. You only live once. Or ... you only die once.I would like to buy a donkey setup but I dont want to throw that much on a radio. HiFonics 10 speaker soundbar is 330 on amazon and im leaning that route.
The 1000-5 is typically more desirable for a variety of reasons, even if you don't usually use the rear seats, including:New to the forum and I too have just purchased a 1000-5 I am thinking about the SATV windshield, and am also thinking about their tinted roof. One of the potentially weird things I am thinking about is using the 3 seat roof, if it fits, and then a back poly screen behind the 3 seat bar and not clear to the back. This would keep the bed completely open. I will rarely use the the back seats so not too concerned about enclosing that. I probably would have been better off with the 1000 rather than the 1000-5 but do like the flip up seats. The dealer had three of these and no stock in sight and I did not want to wait.
Anyone tried this?
I bought the half roof and used it one time and sold it and got the full roof.New to the forum and I too have just purchased a 1000-5 I am thinking about the SATV windshield, and am also thinking about their tinted roof. My 700-4 had a roof over the front seats only. The 1000-5 I have now has a full roof . I definitely like the full roof better just to keep stuff dry and out of the sun.New to the forum and I too have just purchased a 1000-5 I am thinking about the SATV windshield, and am also thinking about their tinted roof. Similar to keeping things dry with a full roof, if you don't care about what's in the back getting covered with dirt and debris, get the mid panel. If you do, go full enclosure -or- get a rear panel to use just to keep the dust and debris out (there are a variety of inexpensive options you can read about on the forums). Thanks for the input. Smitty335 and Waggintail, if you put a rear window in, would you go clear to the back or just behind the front seats?
I have no experience with that. Sounds like @toddvdh and @Scoop both make valid pointsThanks for the input. Smitty335 and Waggintail, if you put a rear window in, would you go clear to the back or just behind the front seats?
I have the 1000-5 with full windshield and a full width screen behind front seat and the OEM full roof. Works well and reduces the dust. Enjoy your new ride and if you’re going to be riding in the Jemez Mts, I’m recommending a full 1/2” skid plate as one of your must have additions.New to the forum and I too have just purchased a 1000-5 I am thinking about the SATV windshield, and am also thinking about their tinted roof.
