Checking over a 20 Polaris Ranger 570 EPS with 3097 miles. Complaint of a clicking while driving. Found the following.

U-joint at front diff basically falling apart.
U-joint at rear diff has excessive play.
Left front lower ball joint; I am surprised it is still together. A wrong bump and I am confident it would separate.
Front brake pads gone and digging into the rotors.
Rear brake pads maybe 1mm left.
Left front inner cv boot leaking.
Left rear inner cv boot clamp missing.
Left rear lower hub bushing basically gone.
Right rear lower hub bushing has excessive play.

I just thought this was interesting.

Vehicle is used to check cattle. The owner says he rarely hauls anything in the bed.

That doesn’t surprise me. My son is a tech at the local Polaris dealer and he is kept very busy. They are definitely high maintenance.

That's why after doing a lot of research, I bought a Honda. I would rather have dependable and dull over problems and all the doodads. I don't have time to do a bunches of work on my machine, just to be able go ride the trails.

Thats why im looking at the Hondas.

Which is unfortunate because those death wagons are everywhere and finding a Honda sxs is a bit harder (in my area). Honda ATVs no issue.

I dont mind doing work on a machine but i dont want to spend more time working than using
