Just curious to see who's keeping their 700 or who's going to the 1000!

For what I do the 700 is perfect for me.Don't get me wrong if I had money to burn I would be all over 1000.If I ever get another waiting on sport model.

I would love to put my 700-4 up for sale right now and go down and put a deposit down on a 1000-5 deluxe in red. But I already know it's not going to fit in my toy hauler. My 700-4 BARELY fits. So for now looks like I'm stuck with what I got.

I'll stick with the 700, ive only made 2 payments on it, plus having all the bells and whistles that the 1000's have would be nice, but its just more weight, and things to go wrong in my opinion .

For me, it's a tough decision. The pioneer 700–4 is all I need. It is also very capable off road and a blast to drive. However, the little boy in me wants to have the extra power that the 1000 offers. I already have 28 inch tires and power steering as well as many other accessories. I would have to start over accessorizing the pioneer 1000. I just can't get over the six speed transmission and the turf mode. Those things hurt the worst not having them.

Maybe someone will come along and pay me 13- $14,000 for my pioneer. It only has 200 miles on it. For me that's what it would take to purchase the 1000. I can enjoy my 700 for the next couple years and by then Honda may have released something even better.

I am with Scott on this one. If I get another machine, it will be a Yamaha or Honda sport, and will try to keep the 700. But then again, the 1k looks pretty good in white, and the dct....paddle shifters...turf mode, it just might be a big 'ol sport machine with a dump bed! I could do that

I think your overlooking the obvious solution....a bigger toy hauler :)

If it shows 27's the 30's look like they will fit from the pictures we have of the 1000.

I would have to agree with you, it is my intention to run 30x10x14 STI Roctane XD's on all four corners, I have over 3000 miles on a set of 27x9x14 without a single flat running is rocky terrain such as Windrock, Brimstone, and the like.

I'm planing 30" tires too but I can't find a set I like.
Wanted Bighorns but I'm not a fan of 30x10x14's on all 4.
