From what I'm seeing, it seems a lot of it is private and closed.

The western portion where it leaves Clayton is private. Part of it runs through my hunting lease and the lease next to us. Then a bunch of other private land. Not sure what happens with it as you go further east.
Its pretty uninteresting around my lease. There was a wind farm installed at this end of it a few years ago, and they turned the one difficult climb section I had been on in to a road that you can drive a car on.
