I have not..but pretty sure you wont have any issues with 27s. Alot on here are running 28s
Thanks for info. I didn't think but my. Brother running the 28" outback and he had to lift so they would t rub. And I really didn't feel like lifting buggie, that's why I think I'm going to run the 27". Do they measure true

I don't know, but if the front aren't any wider than stock, I can't see an issue.

I really like the high lifter lift!! I love the way it feels and the extra ground clearance for the $$

Just to clarify, can you put 28x10x14s on all 4 stock deluxe rims? I was told I would need to change the rim. I was about to order but if I don't need rims I can save some money.

Do you have a lift or forward arms?

Thanks,

Waylan

No lift kit and stock arms. I do have front fox shocks which sit about 3/4" higher than my worn out stock shocks (800 miles)

how good do those quadboss tires do. are they better than the big horns as a all around tire? like the looks of them.

Better traction in sand, dirt, gravel, ice and snow. Significantly lower road noise and the shape of the front tires makes the turn in feel a lot more stable. They have more sidewall stiffness with less air pressure. In deep mud they are probably about the same but I'd have to try a Bighorn in a 28 to know it wasn't just the rolling diameter

I'd never buy another Big Horn.

If you ride aggressively, I don't think it's possible to put enough tire on a stock front rim to keep from busting the side wall on the front, been there done that, have the tee shirt and two busted 8 plys and two 4 plys.

I bought EVO's Black Waters,14 X 30 X 10, actual measurements, 14 X 29 X 9, at 8 PSI still ride rough and not much sidewall flex, running 6 PSI now, jury is still out.

- bump on this thread -

I'm looking to order some new tires this week for my 2018 Deluxe 14" rims and very happy to have found this thread!
From what I have found here, it seems like 28X10X14 is a solid tire size option for all four corners -without any modifications.

I do have some n00b questions in case anyone can chime in;

- why are the stock tires smaller in the front?
is it somehow related to the power steering, handling design, etc?

- is that front rim actually smaller/skinnier than the rear or they simply put a more narrow tire?
basically wondering if I would run in to issues rotating front rims to the rear and vice versa.

- Wheel spacers
Since I'm exploring the idea of different size tires, should I also be looking at spacers?
I'm not facing any trail size restrictions, so I can go wide

I'd guess the stock tires are narrower to induce under steer which will cause most people to slow down. In reality, the narrow front tires just suck at turning, the sidewall fold over and the rims look like junk after they are beat off of rocks because the tire offers no protection for the wheel.

The front wheels are narrower than the rear. If you put the same size tires on all 4 corners the rear track width will look narrower than the front. 1" spacers will make all 4 corners even. If you stick with stock wheels, you can rotate but since the offset is different the machine will look goofy with the front wheels on back and rears on the front. Your best bet would be to buy 4 wheels the same width and offset if you want to rotate tires. I'd recommend 4 front wheels if you're looking to have the same stock wheel all around. The factory rear wheels are too wide for a 10" tire and your sidewalls will take a beating. I much prefer the bulge of a 10" wide tire on a 7" wheel than the flat side mounted on an 8" wheel.

@ToddACimer

solid stuff to think about and thank you for taking the time.
I got some hard choices to make as receiving new rims outside the states will make my tire quest much more expensive..

Edit;
to keep life simple I ordered the Tusk Terrabites at the stock tire sizes.
