Installed an Super winch LT4000 on my 18' P700 deluxe about 3 years ago but never wired it due to chasing electrical gremlins.
Finally getting around to wiring it up.
Used the key on power kit that connects to the rear of the ciggy lighter. Worked great! VERY easy to install.
My issue is this:
I have 12.5V On A & B+ lugs, Direct to battery.
I can hear the relay "clack" with authority when I hit the remote. All good so far.
I do not see 12v between F1 & F2 when I activate the remote. Wiring this solenoid any other way will result in a dead short based on meter continuity.
What could I be missing? The lugs are marked with red/black paint so polarity is ok.
Basic Test procedure for a solenoid?
I only have the one handheld rocker installed as control and it seems to be working (both directions make the solenoid clack)
See the difference between the B/W diagram and the other two pics?
If I wire mine like the B/W diagram, it will dead short the battery.
The one common is the Batt neg always goes to the lug with the jumper on it.
