I can fly into Nashville and get a car. But if i fly in Wednesday I will find me a place to stay Wednesday night. RRB/ Eaglerock?

Its about 3 hour drive from airport, so I could be at RRB around 4 pm

I'd say ER is your best bet for the M.O.M ride. Most everyone will be staying there or the Comfort Inn 👍

That may work for me also, I need to look into a hammock so fly with the stuff I would need.

I'm still deciding on the overland directon.
I was going to do the New River unit like last year.
But, there are rumors of equipment being brought in around the flame and the main mountain pass being closed off.
There are alternate ways but with traffic being pushed there and picking up there it won't be long before it's closed too.
This may affect our path and push us towards upper Tackett / Primroy.
I like this area better anyways.

Still deciding.
But I will work to ensure a route is selected a stock machine can make.

Sounds good to me. I think there is a little more exploring we could do towards Middlesboro and north of it depending on group that goes. Looking forward to it no matter what direction we go!

They blocked that black trail that comes up to the haul road from the flame. It's the trail you and frogtown went up last year before vondy and I met up with you guys. Comes out on that switch back where the blue trail also comes up from the flame.

Middlebsoro is just like Wartburg. You technically have to be street legal but people do it all the time. There is another abandoned train in KY that people are riding to from tackett creek. I thought about going to try and find it sometime before the MOM ride.

So far. I don't see them closing any of those main routes. I could be wrong but it's highly unlikely.

Maybe camp at Cannon Creek Lake? Its a ways out there and Lifetime notes a camping area by lake. Might be a good destination.

Not sure I want to be doing too much new exploring this adventure.
