P1000 Max size I can put on my 2021 1000-5 without mods

Thanks! Been on reading for a bit. Lots of great folks and info. Bay City area. Ride mostly St Helen trails and Silver Lake dunes. Looking to find a group to expand my choices.

We ride St Helen quite a bit. Gladwin area as well but not much there for the big machines, lots of quad trails.

My 28x10-14 Sedona Rip Saws on 5x2 Remington wheels did not fit without rubbing at full turn. Close but not going to work on my '22 1000-5. Thought I would be fine by what I read on the forum, but now I'll have to find some way around it, because the tires look like they'll work great.

I believe @Ridinfool runs these tires. Not sure if he has rub or not but I know all tires measure different in size. A set of forward a-arms from @SuperATV will take care of it too 👍

Pull the pin and put a-arms on it.

I stand corrected. They are 4.4+2.6, 10mm offset wheels. I may indeed need to get a set of A-arms, but I think I'll try shaping the plastic to move it out of the way and see what happens.

There's also a mod for the floor board you can do........try looking it up on the search bar, I can never find that link though. It's a cut out right under the foot rest and then you cover it back up with the provided PC. Maybe someone else all chime in with the info, sorry.

I do have a slight rub (NoMo) at full turn, but I believe it’s the trail armor skid plate that sticks out past the wheel well , it ain’t enough to bother me but I do have @SuperATV A arms just need to install them. One good thing about the rub is, when I bend a tie rod it gets worse.

I tried manipulating the inner fender plastic. Didn't get much movement. Took it off and noticed the floor plastic is right there. And it is not the portion right behind the wheel. Where that company is making a floor mod for. It is the corner straight behind the wheel at full turn. Even with only 8 psi in the tires, which I wouldn't run, it rubs. It is only at full turn, with weight on the suspension. A slight rub on the RH side, but it might actually cause a bind on the left with me in.

I believe the 22s might have a little less front tire clearance than 16-21s because of the added plastic for stick protection. I’m not sure if 28s would fit without rub at full lock
