Dezrik, Hey that might be fun, let's see how things work out. I have to go to Las Vegas this weekend and if I get things ready this week, we'll leave on Monday, otherwise we'll be rolling out Tuesday, in which case we'll probably miss each other. Where do you plan on camping?

We stay at the cabins at Moab Valley Rv Resort and Campground.

Yeah we are still researching a place as well I really don’t want to try to to drive my truck around sand flats with a trailer. Whole different ball game if I got that truck stuck. Leaning toward renting a place

Looking at the Sand Flats road on Google Maps, it looks like a good road with several campground loops...Am I mistaken?? Like I've said, I never camped there.
I'm also seeing all camping is first come first served. What do you veterans think availability is in these places this time of year? I'm hoping to avoid a $hit show.

The roads are fine.. there’s a couple loops where some of the camp spots are that can be a little rough. kilo is just being dramatic. You’ll be fine. Just read the signs

Ya, I'm starting to get pumped. Our weather is great right now, I think I'll start setting things together and the trailer ready so we can jam out on Monday next. I went onto Amazon and bought one of the tour books mentioned...coming tomorrow so I'm ready for some exciting reading...
I'm telling you, I'm sick of winter and READY for spring!

Last year @SouthParkColorado and I rode the Schafer Potash road and Chicken corners which was spectacular! And maybe one other trail?

We have been going there for years, but the last 2 years we took our P-500. If you are boondocking in a RV there are so many great places to stay, and way too many rides to not continually go back to Moab every year. We'll be there again this year....Also, don't forget about the Arapeen Trail in central Utah....more riding there than you could get done in a several weeks.
