No fabrication this weekend but I did manage 57mi on Saturday at Prentice Cooper. Picked up my new tig welder Sunday so hopefully I can start working on some bumpers, rock sliders etc.

Havent had a lot of time to start any fab work but I did manage two quick and easy additions.

I hear this one is worth 2-3hp.


I ordered some vinyl on ebay awhile back and measured all the letters then using my plotter I cut my on decals.

Most guys find that decal gets you 8 to 10 hp.
(if your rig is RED!!!!!)

Sounds good, I’m about to put the HMF on mine because I need room for a rear winch. Hope it’s not annoying like the flowmasters I had on a truck one time.

CFab 2.5" bracket lift arrived. Also got my doors this week but those are a work in progress at the moment.

Initially I was going to build my own but for $125 it wasn't even worth the effort for me to try. Quality is definitely top notch so we'll see Friday how the install goes.

Ok so got the lift installed today. First thing to note is there are no instructions.
If you have a 2017 you will need to remove the push pins that hold the air deflector behind the radiator in place. I used two zip ties, one on each end to hold it up. The other option would be line the bracket up then mark for 3 holes and drill. Decided against that route. Once the brackets we're in place the bolt holes on the new brackets didn't quite line up so I took them off and drilled the front and back holes just a fuzz larger on each end. I opted to use the stock shock bolts for the shock so I also had to drill the outer holes one size larger for the shock bolts to fit. Once that was done front was smooth sailing.

The rear went on no prob. I did end up cutting two spacers down for the top of the rear shock as they were a little long. Overall I'd buy it again for that price. I gained a true 2.5" now with clearance measuring 17".

I also finished up the doors today after having to trim the roof so they would fit.

About 30mi west of Gadsden off 59. Prentice was right at 2hr from my house
