I ordered a moose hitch on 12/27/21 from Dennis Kirk only to receive a notice the next day it was on back order…. and it is STILL on back order. Considering canceling it for the MFG one, even though it is $100 more. Would love to see some photos of one on a P5!

And do not even get me started on how frustrating it is to order ANYTHING right now, everything is on back order for months. Uggghhh… crazy frustrating.

Just curious, have you guys found this to be more useful than a simple hitch size adapter? I'm trying to decide if I need this. I already have a nice 1.25" hitch with 3 interchangable ball sizes so only time I'd use a 2" is for my cargo carrier if and when I use that.

I have one on my p5… one of the best upgrades I’ve done. It raises the hitch point several inches and is solid as a rock. I drag all my trailers around and load the hitch hauler with firewood with no worries or problem. It’s a easy YES you need one for me!

Good point on raising the mount up.

A-yup! Perfect height and heavy duty. Takes advantage of that low gearing . . .

Both of my P5s wear one.
