P1000 Most effective location to mount LED rock podlights

Have my first 4 pods and trying to see where most people mount them. Kind of want to keep them out of the "mud path" of under the fenders etc.

Thinking about in the rear foot well in the area that faces back and down. This will give me light around the rear tires.

On the front, thinking about below the front bumper on the side of the black plastic grill, to the left and right of the radiator.

Thoughts?

Mine are under the fenders in the highest spot possible. They get mudd on them and stay lit for the most part. Not sure if there’s any special spot to put them and not get muddy. Could be wrong.

Further out the more it’s going to light up rocks.... I picked up red thinking they would hurt night vision less.

They are almost worthless I wish I’d gotten plain white instead.

Just depends on your preference! When I installed my first 4 rock lights I ran the wires with slack and taped them in place to test lighting effects. As you can see placement can accent different features such as the FOX QS3 Shocks if equipped

I went with string led lights for the front... still thinking about the rear...
