Hey I'm looking for info on the mudbusters fender flairs on a P1k5D with a full roof. I'm trying to eliminate the mud spray on mine, I can't stand to get muddy when I'm hunting. The spray covers you and your bow's or guns and I'm not liking that. The front throws lots of mud forward but doesn't get on me I'm lifted with 30" intimidators.
Need pics and first hand info. Thanks TOOLOUD

I love mine. Like you, I was getting plastered with mud from the front tires. They do great job of keeping it off you and makes cleanup easier too.

I can tell you that they work very good. Look up "joeymt33" on YouTube and you'll see a lot of my videos. YouTube users "Delton" and "drfubar" also have a lot of videos of our group and you'll see some of us are using the fenders and I specifically am using 30 inch tires with 5-2 wheels and 1 inch wheel spacers all the way around.

You'll notice that I put a skirt along the bottom that helps A LOT!

Thanks Joey - I'm not getting covered at all from the front tires - my issues are from the rear sides and back.

You will have to make or add your own extension piece to the rear to protect the back corners of the roof. I'll go dig up some pictures......

Here's the first attempt at the rear extension added to the MudBuster, that keeps the brake lights visible and it helps keep some mud out of the rear passenger area....

This is the next set of flares that MudBuster sent where they modified their flares to go further back.....

Then I added the gap filler for the times I'm not using the dump bed....

Thanks - did it eliminate the spray coming in from the back. Kinda like the dust issue just mud

I'm not sure how it affected that. It does seem that you will get some spray at the higher speeds but I did not own the vehicle very long without mud busters to compare.

just ordered mine today. The mud in the roof drives me nuts when cleaning.

Congrats. They are a great addition.

Look into the skirts and gap fillers for extra coverage if you like.

went to put my mud busters on and after doing the fronts, i found the rears did not go all the way back around the roll cage. Hopefully they can send me the correct ones.

I accidentally ordered the shorter ones myself. I’ve been running them for several months now. Still well worth it. I get a little mud on the seat belt boxes in the back. That’s it though.

So the XL are the ones that cover the rear? I thought they were just wider. Dangit.

What did you use to make the gap fillers? I installed the XLs and they make a huge difference!

I just cut a square piece of rubber and put one slit in it so I could put it around the roll cage. As you can see from the picture it's held in with three of those plastic rivets.
