Needed to do something after the tire swap and spacer install. Don’t enjoy mud slung in my face. Ordered a set of mudbuster fender flares for the front. They weren’t cheap but are made in the USA and they give the appearance of an OEM part. Install took 1.5 hours/4 beers. Am happy with them so far. Now I need to figure out something for the back fenders.

Could have used those for that Georgia mud today. Thanks for pics @Derail . The Hondasxs.com discount of 15% worked. On “sale” before discount $199 full set extra size, $139 extra size front only. Don’t know if those are the regular prices or not.

Talked to a fella at MUDBUSTERS today. They currently do not have any of the rear fender extender kits available for the P500. But he is hopeful to possibly have some in a couple of weeks. He is going to text me when they are ready. Will update here when/if they become available.

Yep, they only have the rear mudflaps, hopefully the rear fender sidepiece will be available soon.

Do the front extended ones stick out 4 inches when installed?

Installed today, front angle bracket behind headlight a pita. Used right angle drill and was able to drill front and rear holes ok. Would have been easier with a helper. Had to get longer bolts due to rocksliders and metal wheel well plate. Nuts and bolts supplied are 1/4 x 20 thread, 3/4 long. Instructions did not match, but they say that due to ongoing design changes. Not too bad. Front comes out to edge of 27x10 tires on 5+2 rims, no spacers. Still need something for rear fender sides. Went with 6 5/8 inches below rear fender, longer bolts helped on inner top fender holes. As requested pics @Chooglin .

Just installed new tires and wheels and created a very efficient mud slinger. I have been looking at the Flexi flares. Was thinking about using on front and back. Do you think they will be tough enough ?

Will these help as a inner fender to keep mud and water out from under the hood area? I really do not care for the flare aspect, I am trying to cut down on the moisture and air flow.

Offers some splash protection as it curves on upper and rear of wheel well, does not cover inner side near shocks and under hood openings.
