My Pioneer 700 goes into limp mode.as if my seat belt is not connected. Only problem is it's a 2015 it does not have the seat belt safety. My other Pioneer 700 is a 2017 and does have the seat belt safety. What would cause that same symptom on the 2015

Give us a bit more info, when you say limp mode, does it allow speed to 24 kph like the seat belt limiter? Or is it in limp mode, which allows it to creep along at a very slow speed? Limp mode can be caused by any of various sensors not working properly. Is there a code on the dash display? Or a "check engine" light?

So was the PCM from another newer P700 or was it actually a bad ECM?

Hey. So I got a new pgm from the Honda shop. Plugged it in and then hooked the battery up and it is still acting the same. Any ideas?

Anyone have any idea on this-

Driving at any speed but normally 20+ the seat belt light comes on and puts it in limp mode until it realized it’s plugged in and goes back to normal?

I removed the magnetic piece and now can drive at any speed (even though I still use the seat belt) and it still does it. Any ideas?

I thought you were supposed to remove the black piece. Not the magnet.
I'll have to and look at the thread.

it was happening when it was still in there also. Just randomly the seat belt light will flash and it will go into limp mode. Thought maybe taking out the piece would fix it but I can now drive at any speed without the seat belt but same thing happens occasionally.
