Not sure what you call this boot but it’s behind driver side heading toward back left tire area. How tough a job to replace? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
Had the same thing and put shoe goo on it 2-3 years ago and it’s still fine, fwiw. Not sure what you call this boot but it’s behind driver side heading toward back left tire area. How tough a job to replace? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!View attachment 193551
I’m not sure it needs grease in there...🤔 But if you do you’ll need to clean any residue off the boot with solvent and let it dry real good.I found the shoo glue fix last night. Definitely going to try that route. Going to insert some grease and shoo glue the crap out of it. Thanks guys.
You’re welcome. Just bear in mind that the cleaner you get the rubber, the better it will adhere. And then just keep an eye on it. 👍Thanks guys. I’m going to shoo glue it and drive the heck out of it as always. No telling how long it’s been torn. We’ll see what happens. Thanks again and the tips on here are always appreciated. I think i’ve bought and installed virtually every thing that can be done at this point except torq locker and power steering!
I thought the same a long time ago, (at least $4,000 ago). I don't think it will ever stop........................... I think i’ve bought and installed virtually every thing that can be done at this point except torq locker and power steering!

Oh, there’s no question about that. But can’t I brag on his machine and rib him all at the same time? 😊👍But his machine is quite awesome...........
