Mistype “or” Freudian slip? Care to divulge???That's it! I'm sold.. gonna add a 2nd battery to my Talon. But wait isn't JayPo a cool kid now?
I bet it’s that @KyGal83 ‘s p500 identifies as a Talon..Mistype “or” Freudian slip? Care to divulge???
I wish she’d answer…almost like she’s hiding something from us!I bet it’s that @KyGal83 ‘s p500 identifies as a Talon..
exactly. As voltage sensitive as these can be keep the machine on its own battery and accessories on theirs. Mandatory no but just to easy not to. That is my non expert opinion and its just coolFor the reasons you stated above I would have one and Ill tell you why.
The Honda’s like very clean voltage for shift motors and such or weird things can happen. Its well documented in threads here dating back to at least 2015. Yes you can run minimal things and be mindful to what you run when u run it but there is always that one time!
A scenond battery set up is inexpensive compared to the hart ache and expence to the repair of over taxing the system that was engineered to run on the one it came with.
Dealers that are putting a winch, radio, heater etc. on the main battery really dont care, they just want the rig sold and after that who Gives AF? The way they think. So cant go by what they do.
If anything else, with a 2nd battery its a pice of mind and takes alot of the guess work out if you have problems. Sucks when we have to tell someone to…”remove one by one each accessory from your main battery and see if your rigs issue will go away?” Work smarter not harder, Buy once cry once!😉
Just for $hits and giggles, I had one in my P5, P1 and my Talon
#Batteryenvy..All the cool kids do it
There are lots of things you don’t need…. But…You don't need it JuniorMechanic....aka @KyGal83 As Prez said the P5 is much more tolerant to voltage fluctuations than the P1K/T1Ks.
No wrong answerI’ve never ran a second battery and have had several buggies. I’m with the you don’t need one crowd. Yes I’m an asshole Remington 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I think it just depends on what some prefer. No right or wrong on the topicI’ve always ran a second battery and have had several buggies
quit making sense - stop itSo the thread title is Why a Second Battery? For a larger power bank.
Why would you need a larger power bank? For using electrical stuff without the engine running or drawing more than the stator will produce while running.
If you're not doing either one of those then you don't need a second battery.
Ed Zachary 😂🤣😂I think it just depends on what some prefer. No right or wrong on the topic
All valid points. It just like shoes, ya can’t have too many of them !No wrong answer
