Pros
No belt
Love dc transmission
Love 5 seat capacity
Doors front and back
Dump bed assist
Ease of service
Rides smoother
Instrument better
Neg
Heat under seat
Cables for drive selector vs push buttons
Bed is shorter and narrower
Honda side mirrors
Bed rattles
No real back window set up
Tailgate doesn’t lay flat
Small fuel tank

I do like the honda and I don’t miss the belt slipping and clunky CV clutch
I miss the larger bed and hate the heat .
I installed the shield under seat but still warm
Time will tell I kept my Polaris 7 years and other than wear of parts no problems. I got tired of being charge so much for service I decide to switch

Hi all!
We traded in our 2021 700 Deluxe for a 2024 1000-5 Deluxe recently. I love how stable and strong the 1000 is compared to the 700. I don’t feel like we are going to tip over all the time on the rough 4wd roads we ride like I did in our 700.

However!!! What is up with the jerky throttle around 8 mph?!?! This perfect machine beasting all over the crazy trails, but sometimes it just jerks and feels like the throttle is a wreck right around slow 4wd cruise speed? It seems to be worse about several miles into a ride and sometimes putting it in sport mode fixes it or manually shifting, but it comes back unexpectedly. This can make negotiating difficult roads more challenging for me, fortunately the 1000 is so beastly and stable that if I’m going a little too fast or it jerks unexpectedly, it’s no biggie.

I hate to admit that it’s making me miserable after awhile. To note: the sport mode is pretty much exactly the way our 2021 700 rode all the time and I prefer it.

I got a bed rattling fix from piney outdoors works ok. Cut a piece of heater hose and zip tie it to latch. One side worked perfect the other side took me 3 tries to get in the right spot.

Didnt need to get that from them. We've had that same fix on the forum years before they did. Just had to use the search.. genus idea tho

the new design is just a post not a u bolt , you can just slide it over post on under side of bed, I used a piece of tubing it helped may need to get larger hose OD .

I agree during deer season I love it. Not so much when I’m riding in 90degree weather in Tennessee on my June trip. A little ball sweat is good for you. I’ve got a cheap heat shield don’t remember which one and most of the time I nor my wife notice the heat being a problem.
