My tip showed up today!
Easy install
At idle db in the driver's seat went up +3db to 69db avg. The tone is lower and nice. Like mentioned it seems to rev a little easier.
Sound under increased RPM was the same as stock on my sound meter.
I like it a lot!

Take off your stock tip/arrestor and you'll be able to see if you like it for yourself since that's pretty much all we're doing here. It's got a little more grumble at idle, but I couldn't tell any difference when riding around. My new tip should be here today.

Here you go. It sounds better in person because you don't hear the engine noise as much. Mic picks up a lot more ambient sound

It's a very easy and quick upgrade. I'm still curious about the whiskey bent tip vs this eBay tip comparison.

I wouldn't expect much difference unless the whiskeybent has some sort of baffle-type arrestor like the stock tip. Looking forward to what you find

I wouldn't either. If there is any difference it's gonna to be very subtle.
