P1000 New exhaust tip option!!!!!

Got mine installed last night (and my mudbusters!!!)

it makes a very slight difference in sound. I don't think anyone is going to complain that it's too loud after installing the new tip. You can hear a little burble once in a while, and I do notice a bit more sound at WFO.

Would I buy it again? yes.

Here you go. It sounds better in person because you don't hear the engine noise as much. Mic picks up a lot more ambient sound

So after putting some heat on it, the black has turned to a copper color 🤷. Actually looks pretty cool still.

The verdict is they sound about the same.
I believe the Whiskey bent is a teeny tiny little bit quieter maybe? At a idle the new one has a little deeper thump to it? I changed them back a forth and keep coming back to the new one having more of a hollow or deeper sound you wouldn't go wrong with either one.

That's about what I figured. There was a slight difference between no tip and the new tip. The new tip seemed to take a little harshness out of the sound.

Be careful removing the three bolts. I wrung one off. Got lucky and was able to drill it out and re-tap it. Didn't like the louder idle. Went back to stock.

Just an FYI, when I reinstalled my bolts I used never-seize.

The more I ride, the more I notice the difference in sound. It does have a little thump to it now at lower rpms and under load. It sounds good. Any louder and I probably wouldn't want it. Mine has also been upgraded to the "Golden Brown Edition".

Same here. I noticed it the most when engine braking.

I was concerned with the sound, but after install I like it better. I figured if anything I could change it back during hunting season but I really don't think it will matter. Now I just have to wait for the bronze edition to show up 😂😂

Not at all. You need to do the under seat insulation and/or the bilge fan mod

Ok was just hoping. I just added 2 3inch bilge fans yesterday. Took it on a little ride but not long enough to tell.
