New Forum Software is UP!!!!.... What do you notice?

I like it as said before takes getting used to seems to move much faster and my internet sucks wer i live all n all good thanks for such a good forum lotts of good information on here

Upgrades can go far worse sir. I think you’re doing well with it. If color schemes are on the short list then life is great!

If you like the blue, just let me know. I plan to remove it soon but we can keep it I guess.

Is there a reason to not use the default style?
I don't need to if it chews up resources but it's closest to how I viewed the old site.
I guess it's what I saw when I first came here in 2013.



Also the reply window is a little unstable on my tablet.
It's a little bit difficult to see what I am typing and the pop up keyboard at the same time.
I'm sure if I knew how to spell it wouldn't be such a big deal (that is why I took a job with a foreign company, to hide my inability to spell. Damn if the Japanese can't spell better than most Americans).

Thanks. I much prefer the RED to the BLUE, but it is nice having a choice. Beginning to feel like home again!

BTW - I notice that in the UIX 2 style, the users post count and responses data shows up at the left again (isn't there under the default). Super job, my man! 👍👍👍

@Hondasxs Ok, I'm seeing a bit of a glitch I think (and perhaps it's because you're still in the process of getting things squared away, but I thought you should know nonetheless). First, The sub-menu down arrow does not show up on the Forum tab when you're scrolled all the way to the top where the banner (HONDA SxS CLUB) shows. If you scroll down just enough that the banner disappears, the sub-menu down arrow shows up.

MORE IMPORTANTLY, using the Default style, the sub-menu is active and I can see all of the options (New Posts, Find Thread, Watched, Search Forums, Mark Forums Read). BUT, when I switch to the UIX 2 style, the sub-menu down arrow shows up (subject to the conditions I indicated above), but clicking on the down arrow does nothing, the sub-menu never flies out. I notice that in the UIX 2 mode, the adjacent tab sub-menus automatically drop when you roll over the tab. The Forums tab sub-menu does not.

Finally, I use Chrome as my browser. I don't know if that matters, but thought you should know. Perhaps it only occurs when using Chrome.

I f------ hate it. Took me 5 minutes just to log in trying to navigate the same obtrusive ads. Once logged in , I can hardly see this washed out, small print crap.
Probably won't be visiting to much in the future. Not a paying member, so I'm sure you don't really care. To bad cuz I enjoyed the forum , but it just ain't working for me.
