Another Welcome from Kentucky and a P500 owner! This forum has some very helpful members, for the best ones check out the P5 section. I am biased.
The trails local to me were also created by 4wheelers and to experience the really good places a P500 is the only thing that fits. Our group rides with a 700 occasionally, he can go on most of the trails, but anything wider is out. The P5 is small, but mighty fun... you can use it as a property machine or come join the rest of us in the "P5 Posse" (😁) for some more technical rides in Tennessee. Nothing too dangerous mind you... it is still a P500.

I bought an enclosed trailer to move here from Michigan, the P5 was the only unit that would fit inside the trailer and not wanting to purchase an additional trailer, I purchased the P5 and have had no regrets.
Oh, and that thing about the red ones being faster, it's an illusion that occurs because they can't see the camo ones, so when a camo unit passes them, they just feel a gust of wind.

Was deep in Ohio Bigfoot Country at Salt Fork State Park in East Ohio but did not see anything other than Bigfoot Hunters. The Annual Bigfoot Conference will be held there on May 4. Of course, we do also have the Mothman in Southeast Ohio! All things Mothman at the annual festival Septermber 21 & 22 in Point Pleasant, WVA. Complete Bigfoot explanation contained in the book, "Hunt for the Skinwalker". Don't want to give it away but it is a portal to another dimension....keep that on the QT.

Welcome. Ohio here as well. I’d look at 500/520 or 1000. Not a fan of 700, maybe if they had a low range.
