Im installing a winch on a 2020 Pioneer 1000. All has went well but I have no power. Im connected to the Honda recommended white and black wire for power. Is there a better way to connect?? Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

Check and make sure you have a 12v power out of the source your trying to hook to. AAK get a volt meter if u dont have one

I don’t know if the Pioneer is like the talon. but the pre-run wires on the talon are not connected at the battery.

My winch instructions say to install the winch power cables directly to the battery. Also, I put an on/off switch with a cover gaurd on my on my solenoid control. This is a safety switch for my two year old, button pushing, grandson. Before the in/out switch will work the other switch needs to be on.

Welcome from SE Texas... Get you a test light and check all cables on BOTH ends... Make sure you have the winch solenoid properly wired too... Check the wire that you tapped and make sure it is getting a 12 volt signal when turned on.

Welcome from North Alabama. When I hooked my winch up I used 2nd battery but believe the instructions had wire to primary battery. Don’t remember a white power one.
