Hey all, I’ve only had my new 700-4 for 6 days and it’s been great....until now. After work I took it for a stroll down the driveway to get the mail and on the way back up it cut power and started flashing a (-) in the gear indicator box and wouldn’t hardly move and the engine was cutting in and out.... your classic Oh shi# moment. I put it in neutral and then back in gear but nothing changed so I shut it off and started back up and so far everything has been fine. Any ideas??? Pretty discouraged at this point. Thanks for any input.

Update:
I checked all connections and couldn’t find anything. We went trail riding and are up to 54 miles and still no issues.

mine did that the first time out as well. temperature gauge read normal, no other issues/smells/etc. It died going up a slight incline and wouldn't stay running after restart. Had to give it the throttle to make it keep running and let off a second to get it into gear and go. no problems since, even riding in the same spot.

Update: The 700 is running strong and has about 115 miles on now. My only complaint as of now is the transmission sounds like there’s a bolt rattling and jumping around in there when I’m going about 25-30 mph and about less than half throttle. Funny thing is if I give it more throttle or let up a little more it stops doing it...? o_O

Have you checked to make sure the clamps on the shields for the exhaust pipe are tight. I know mine were loose when I first got it and many others had the same problem.

It's your rear brakes. If you shut off the machine and put in neutral down a long hill it will do this too. It gets better over time.it drove me crazy for months
