Welcome from Kentucky. Just start reading for all the information you could need. Beware though, it will cost you a lot of money, but you will have a lot fun also.

Welcome from AZ, like pct says, search the forums for all thoughs and or worries.

Do check all fluids including the differentials and cables for shifting and turf, 2 wheel and 4 lock, tire pressure. The dealership thinks the factory or the set-up people do it so nothing for sure gets done

Welcome!

One must do thing to do would be to get the "intake fix" that Honda released a while back or do a snorkel. There are many options from stealth to all the way to the roof.

Welcome from North Georgia most people are extending the vents lines and doing a snorkel or I put the new air intake on mine I don't plan on being in deep water these are all great things to do even if ur not going to be in a lot of water it's just nice to know the machine will be ok if you do get in water all these fixes are cheap and easy. These forum is great but if you read a lot of this stuff it will make you think of sell the pioneer just remember everybody has something different to say. Lot of great tips on here now go play in the dirt.

Honda redesigned the air intake under the hood the old one would let water get in if you ran threw water and it splashed up on the hood. The new one is suppose to prevent that from happening. There some post and pictures on here that show the difference and the part numbers it's around 25 dollars to change the intake out and easy to do

Like somebody said it's habit forming I have the 3 person done put new tires and wheels a new skid plate and A-arm guards on it and for different reasons I just have been able to put 20 miles on the pioneer but it's ready to go and oh yeah I extended the vent lines and still looking for stuff to add

there is 2 guys on ebay that sell the vent line extended vent kit with everything you need to extend your vent lines. just type in Honda pioneer 1000 vent line kit on ebay and choose the one you like best. I think both are members to this forum. both have instructions to where each line is.
