Ordered a set of 28 x 10 x 14 tusk terrabite tires and ITP steel wheels with a 5-2 offset. Excited to try them out, especially after only having put 120 miles on our machine.

Will do, I was a little worried about power loss so we will see. These tires and wheels are significantly heavier. 18lbs for the fronts and 15 lbs for the rear, so we will see.

How's steering and power with 28's, do you have same wheels all around and 2"lift?

That looks great! Put any miles on the tires yet to give them a good test?

So after a weekend and 100 plus miles on the tires now I’m pretty pleased. So with 4 people in the machine doing steeper hill climbs is slow going but doable. With just myself or two people it’s much better. As for the ride at 35-40 mph it feels much more stable. Traction in rocks is awesome and love the extra ground clearance. With still having stock suspension all the way around the front doesn’t rub at all and the shock will bottom out. As for the rear it does rub on full compression. I will be doing some research soon on the commander/pioneer 1000 shock options to get a bit more travel and to alleviate the issue with running in the rear and to deal with the annoying front shock bottoming out.

What are you doing with your stock 12in wheels? If they are the deluxe ones I’d be interested in buying them

Maybe if you crank the rear to last notch, might not rub?

I just went 28×10×12 itp Blackwater evolutions on 5-2 12" rims with a super atv 2" lift and removed the sway bar link to give 4 wheel independent suspension. Very plush ride, only have the rear shocks set at the second lowest setting. I may make 1/2" spring spacers to put on all 4 shocks just to stiffen them up a bit, and of course who doesn't want another 1/2" ground clearance.

Nice I like that set up, I have cranked my tears up all the way and it still rubs. Will definitely be keeping my eyes out for a set of 1000 shocks for the front and rear.

I just missed out on a set of commander shocks 2 weeks ago on eBay. They went for $350. Meant to bid at last minute but missed it by 8 minutes😤
