I was just about to buy the terrabites when the guy on the phone said i could get the trilobite HDs as well. They look like the bighorns but 8 ply. He said i would have to do 27x11x14 all the way around. Anyone have thoughts on the wider 11's all around? I like the tread a bit more than the terrabites because i would not ride on asphalt hardly at all if ever. I appreciate any thoughts.

Nice! Soooo.... what do they measure?? When you get a chance please.

I just did a walk around at the dealer and the machine is still there for service so I don't have specific dimensions but visually the rears look the same size as stock and the fronts look taller and wider by a little. I should be able to get a dimension later this week

The tire on the left is the wider 11 inch trilobite HD. They said i could run 4 of those - does that seem ok to run in the front as well? The terrabite on the right i can run all 4 at 28x10x14. Is it weird to run the wider 11's all around? Anyone have thoughts on either?

I have been impressed with my terrabites so far, wet slippery clay and thick sloppy mud have been no issue so far.

did you do the 28x10x14 for all 4? Any rubbing when turning?
Correct 28x10-14 on each corner. I purchased with 4+3 rims. Also installed highlifter kit, i cannot comment on rubbing on stock machine.

You're only looking at a 1/2" added width to the inside. Shouldn't make a difference unless you do shocks, lift and such changes... and may not even then. Just down the road issues you might need to think about.

Ok thank you for all the info. They said I do not need any spacers with those rims and tires. sound legit? I do not understand offsets so I want to make sure I get the right stuff. They also said I needed new bolts?

I put on the fox shocks. Will that be a problem?

Not if you don't have a lift... even then it would probably be fine
No lift. Thank you so much for the info! I still can't decide on the tires. I like the thought of the tread on the trilobites but many people run and love the Terrabites. Feels like risky versus tried and true. Guess maybe that answers it though. Lol.

I'll give you my honest opinion in a week and a half after we get back from Tn for a few days of riding. That will be the real test for me. It should be as technical of riding as anyone will do and with the hurricanes coming up will likely be wet enough.

That sounds like some fun riding!

Well, i bought the STI beadlock rims in matte black and 28x10x14 Mongrels. I will post pics as soon as i get them on the machine. Thank you everyone for your help!
If you have someone mount them for you make sure to check the torque on thw beadlock rim. If they arent done correctly they will leak. Believe torque spec is 10 ft lbs.
