P700 Oct 1st NC street legal UTV!! Mod time

2018 P700-2 Deluxe.
Looking for recommendations on radial tires and signal / horn kit. Plug & play kit at $380?
Terabyte radials still the hot ticket for dual use? (Light trail use, nothing remotely extreme). Prefer to keep Factory rims unless it's a safety issue.


Locked rear end gives me a little worry for on street use, anyone have any horror stories?
Probably just don't turn really sharp and things should be ok?

Moreover, have you contacted your local DMV for instructions or procedures?
Some people have and are finding they don't have a clue on the process or the new law.

A 700, being better off than a 1000 to get approval due to factory park brake.
I'm interested in the tax rate that will be due.

As for your questions, My terabytes have seen many miles of road and I feel they have faired very well.
If you just need a turn signal kit "just to get by", there are cheaper options in the club store.
Factory rims will be fine.
As for locked rear, ya just limit sharp turns.

Use one of the existing mounting bracket holes on the windshield. You may have to ream it out a bit.

Is it poly or glass??
If poly.......it's easy to drill through, not a big deal

If glass.........you should have a frame around said glass you can drill through.
I've added simple wipers like that to a few utvs and they are pretty "universal" just have to be a little creative 👍
