I started my 1st post by wondering about the need for power steering and after reading everyones comments called my dealer on monday and said next two to come in was pre sold called next dealer which is only 10 min away and he got 6 in.Two were pre sold rest were available. So I finally made it today just to look at the pioneer they were down to 1 camo. After finally seeing it in person I signed the dotted line.Finance lady said manager called to see if I was getting it he had 3 calls in wanting to put deposit on it but I had 1st shot since I was there. So if you want one but don't think you should don't go look at them now I have the trouble of trying to go to bed get up at 4 in the morning work 10 hrs before I can go pick it up.I am really surprised they are selling as good as they are its like half the country was waiting on it to be released.

Congratulations nagromr1, you really think you are going to sleep tonight knowing you have a pioneer with your name on it ready to go. Good luck with that! Lol.
I could not sleep a bit the night before I got mine.
Im glad you had luck finding one and now that you are a owner we look forward to your post.
Ttyl.

Congrats nagromr1! Welcome to the family.

I know what you mean, I have heard a lot of buzz about them. Too bad Honda wasn't ready to ship mass quantities, I don't think they expected the demand with the comparatively slow sales of the BR. But I think the market was tiring of rubber band driven SxS's and was ready for something with good looks(finally), a real transmission and trusted reliability at a reasonable price.

Just my 2¢.

Now if they would just take my money and give me accessories!

Congratulations on your purchase! Hopefully you can take it out this weekend and burn the "new" off of it!

I have an F150 and the wife has a Subaru Tribeca - I agree, the Pioneer seems as big as her SUV! We went camping a couple weekends ago and the Tribeca pulled the Pioneer just fine, all the way back to our spot (f150 pulling our coleman evo 3). A little rubbing on the trail by the tribeca but everything made it fine :)

late season, cold camping in Colorado is something you have to do to understand I think. Huge fire, plenty of warming liquids and night trail rides = fun for all!

Idahohntr one of the things I don't want to loose is the that new smell this is 1st thing I have had new in over 10 yrs. From unloading driving to garage and couldn't resist a quick lap around field had a grin from ear to ear.Keep in mind this is my first sxs.It was cold then noticed had one hand in pocket and realized like everyone said no need for power steering.I'm a kid again at age 44.
