Looking ahead a bit: The Trail Armor skid/trailing arm skid instructions mention self tappers. Is there room for plus nuts instead?
I was concerned about the self tappers but decided to give them a chance, if they failed, replace with nut zertz or weld nuts. I'm at 16k miles now and haven't had any problems with the self tappers. I don't do mud though, the skid has never been off.

Start with electrical? My worst, and I'm bad at all of it!
I have been hoarding up accessories since I bought mine in 2018. Still haven't hooked anything up 😔. I have 2 new batteries, dual battery kit, fuse panel, cole hersee, bandland apex 5500 winch and a cheap mount that needs some modification all in the bed waiting for me to be able to stand out there long enough to try to install it. Have whips that I want to hook to turn signals also. Life gets in the way sometimes and I'm not super skilled either. 🙄🤦‍♂️🤣

Depends on what trails you are going to be riding on. We go straight to the hardest trails usually, so for us we replace the parts that will end our weekend of riding first. High clearance aarms and high clearance radius rods, plus skid plate are our first mods we do. We could barely make it a weekend on the stock stuff. But my kids and I also think we are driving bumpers cars sometimes so that might be some of our issues!!🤷🏽‍♂️😂🤣😂
Umm…. Futz. 🤔 might read this before we let this guy in the P5 ride..

Uhh drive it first?

Seriously the buggy is really capable from the dealership. IMO less is more.

Basic winch, windshield, couple pod lights and maybe back screen. Skip the extra battery imo…

Unless you’re constantly banging the bottom on a rock pile I’d skip the skid plate.

Stay basic and more seat time imo.
I like the trail armor skid plate for the rocker protection as much as anything else.

Also looking at it, I must use it for reading trail braille
