Got my full skid plate on, and new tires ready for the [HASHTAG]#PioneerTakeover[/HASHTAG] now. Got to hit some hard trails.
There's nothing like the peace of mind knowing you're protected underneath. I need to post pics of the OEM skid to show how flimsy it is.

We had moved to WI from near Raleigh, NC so it was a complete weather and culture shock to us. I miss NC badly but have to settle for Ohio for now.

Stimey, you aint missing nothing but traffic.

So I'm a newbie to this. Any advice on what to bring? Did a ride two week ago and almost everyone had the wader or at least some thigh high boots. Not familiar with RB so not too sure.
I know I need to bring money, beer, gas, spare tire??? beer, some tools, tow strap, beer, and my ride

me to the far right. everyone was impressed with how my 500 performed. that picture was less that half of the group. the rest went back halfway through

You don't need waders or even knee high boots for the Friday night/Saturday ride.
For Sat maybe should pack a lunch. I would tack on a gallon of extra gas just incase but I am setting a goal to do a 1 tank run.

*edit, see you had gas listed... Lol

I would recommend (as a basic list) the following:

Spare Fuel can - 3 gal for a P500 / 4-6 gal for a P1k
Spare Tire & wheel - even if you leave it at camp
Tire Plugs (several) and a tire boot if you can find one
Small 12v air compressor
Tools from 8mm - 24 mm sockets & wrenches
Vise grips including a bigger pair
Screw drivers and small pry bars
Tow strap at least 20 f't. long
First Aid kit
Trail Maps - spares of where you are riding
Flashlights
Fire starter
Space blankets
Food & water to last overnight for everyone in your machine.

Being a group ride the chances of getting stranded are nearly zero, but it is a good practice to have the stuff just in case.

Top 4 things that get used are:
Tow Strap
Spare fuel
Tire plugs / Air compressor
Tool Kit
