I hope someone answers because I have the same question, I'm also concerned about my trailer only being 6 feet wide.

Hey, Just a thought... Camso may be able to answer that question.. Here is their number 1-819-539-2220. They answer in French, then it switches to English. They are open 8am to 12pm then 1pm to 5pm. Hope this info helps you guys out!

My guess is no, probably you will need 14 or even 16 ft. I have tracks on a Yamaha Grisley that I haul on a 6x12 trailer, not much room left over, and for sure you'll need 7' wide.

I use flat trailer for P500, and its smaller then all other guys on forum use, the beauty of it that I welded mounts to add detachable steel angles to add extra 3 inches from each side once I switched to aftermarket wheels and tires.

With tracks if your trailer is flat then as long as main bearing wheel is on surface over the trailer you dont need more support.

I have a 2016 1000-5 deluxe with Camso UTV 4S tracks on it. It fits perfectly on my 7'x 12' trailer. It is just a hair over 6 feet wide and 11'-6" or so long. My trailer is a 3500# single axle with GVWR of 2990 and drop down gate on back. I have been happy with this arrangement. A 6'-6" wide by 12 long may work out also.

I was wondering with the gear reduction in the tracks can you run in high range or is low range the only way we can run? my tracks are going on on Tuesday.

You run it like normal. The top speed is just reduced to give more low end power.

Here is a pic of the brochure, I spoke with the camso reps last weekend at the ice fishing show here in St. Paul MN. From the center of the front axle towards the front of the Utv, you will be 26.5" and 35" in the rear(center of rear axle towards back). Place a 2x4 at the locations and measure overall length.
Width measures from the flat face of the hub out 7-1/4" on each side, again at 2x4 and measure overall.
These tracks add about 5" to the overall height as well.
I have a 12' trailer open on the back so if the tracks hadn't out when I get them I'm OK. But if you have a gate you might not fit.
Basing my numbers of Honda's site and Camso's site I figured overall wish would endup at 77.5" my trailer is a little narrower than that, but with tracks I will climb over anything and make it fit .
That's my 2 cents

I got nearly new Camso UTV 4S for $2700 on Craigslist, had to get a transfer kit for another $475. The 4S1 have a lot of improvements, but I wasn't sure how much I would actually use them. Not legal on snowmobile trails in Michigan, so in and out of camp and logging roads, etc.

I was thinking about the 4S1...but for $5,000+ it would be tough to sell to the wife.

Well brought the rig in for the first service. I was told that the first service will be half price plus parts oil, filters so $65 plus I thought thats reasonable. Plus the tracks go on!!! I can't wait we are in a deep freeze here for the next week so the frozen lake will be my wide open spaces. Time to start fishing!!
