I just bought a used 1000-5. It’s in good shape but has a ton of scuffs and pinstripes from brush. It drive me a little crazy. It’s also red and I’m not sure if I want to swap color or not. What is the best current resource for buying new panels for a total swap?

Ive looked them up on partsfish.com before. If I remember right, Camo was the most expensive color swap I think. Im sure somebody on here might have a better place than partsfish. You can also look into getting a wrap. There is a utv graphics guy on here people get decals from but for the life of me I cant remember the name of his company. Creative UTV Graphics maybe?! Something like that. Good luck my friend! :)

Custom wrap is the way to go, but reading you weren't happy with the scratches, you may want to purchase the panels in the color of your choice.

Procaliber is usually the cheapest people around. They don't stock anything, so lead times are very high. Maybe 3-4 weeks.
I think they build stock orders with Honda to meet a certain threshold, then they ship your stuff when it arrives.

Thanks guys. So, it looks like the wrap would be roughly 2x what new plastics would cost. Is that right?

Rockymountainatv was the cheapest when I did my 18 from yellow to the metallic silver. The prices are different between colors. I bought all 8 panels for the '16 metallic silver for $285. I thought about the "17 blue but it was about $100 more. Like they said camo along with the LE painted panels are very expensive. The worst part is you have to get the part numbers for each individual panel through the OEM parts diagram. Not to hard to change, and we definitely like the upgrade.

Easiest way is to figure out the color code you want by going to the partsfish

r232 patriot red
g132 adventure green
yr222r zest orange
nh196 ross white

There are others, but I don’t know them offhand...

then search for the body part you want to get the part code... ie. front hood
61300-Hl4-A01

then enter the paint code along with your part number to come up with this... just an example but it works...

https://www.amazon.com/Honda-Pioneer-Front-Yr222r-61300-Hl4-A01za/dp/B079SSPB9V?tag=sxsweb24-20

The key is finding the color code...

Worked for me... your results may vary.
