Faster and more power... Same thing everybody saysMine is slow, about 35 for a top speed. The Polaris Sportsman 550 I had will do about 60.

Gotta be brave to go comparing the P5 to a Polaris around here.Mine is slow, about 35 for a top speed. The Polaris Sportsman 550 I had will do about 60.
If ya bought a P5Faster and more power... Same thing everybody says
Yep, the P5 is the greatest on the trail, that's what it was designed for. Btw, it's top speed is 41-42mph and stops there due to limiter.Well I thought it might go a little faster than 35, without winding the motor out. but it's great cruiser, and it looks good too!
In Colorado on the 50" trails if you get up to 35 mph its because you just went over a cliff and are in free fall.Mine is slow, about 35 for a top speed. The Polaris Sportsman 550 I had will do about 60.
No s*** lol. I've never been 35 or above third gear on any trail. That's only on the county/forestry roads that lead me to the trails. In Colorado on the 50" trails if you get up to 35 mph its because you just went over a cliff and are in free fall.
Has anyone attempted to bypass the rev limiterYep, the P5 is the greatest on the trail, that's what it was designed for. Btw, it's top speed is 41-42mph and stops there due to limiter.
Don't know about that. I certainly haven't, nor would I. The speedo goes to 70mph on my Polaris Ranger, but it's governed at 50mph and I've never gone that fast in it. I can't imagine what a wreck would look like on a sxs at 60mph minus all the safety gear we have on autos that still kills people every day.Has anyone attempted to bypass the rev limiter
My grizzly would do 70.. I'm going to miss that!Don't know about that. I certainly haven't, nor would I. Even if you did bypass it, I don't think there would be any benefit. These engines are tuned for more low end torque than high rpm horsepower. A dyno chart would show the horsepower dropping off before the rev limiter even kicked in.Has anyone attempted to bypass the rev limiter
That PoPo
Just go with somethingHas anyone attempted to bypass the rev limiter
Bet that's true.Even if you did bypass it, I don't think there would be any benefit. These engines are tuned for more low end torque than high rpm horsepower. A dyno chart would show the horsepower dropping off before the rev limiter even kicked in.
