Well it was opening day of bow season today in WV. Got to put down a big fella this morning and task the 500 to haul him out about 3 miles through the thick stuff. Ran like a billy goat! So glad I bought this ride.

Oh and here is the buck I put to rest.

Got him right behind the shoulder, but must have hit a rib or something. It came out kind of low. Was also out of tree stand. He ran about 100 yards maybe and killed over right beside the main trail.

Why is it that all of our hobbies are expensive? Lol...it seems like everything I do is $500 to $1500 these days. The last one my brother took to the taxidermist cost $600 and the price went up again this year. I’ve paid more for scopes recently than the first rifles I bought years ago. :confused:o_O;)

I have hunted a lot in Putnam Co also.

Maybe some day we can get together and ride a little. We ride Wayne county quite a bit also.
