The reason I went with 14 is because when I got my 500 I wanted to get new tires and rims for it,I found set of new takeoff tires for $100.00 for the set of four,so I bought 14" rims ,that was 3900 miles ago and they needed to be replaced so I bought the new tires last month. If I was to do it again I would stay with 12" rims and go with 27" tires,I think more sidewall might improve the rideWhat’s the motivation to go to a 14” rim? Is it just that there are more 27” choices in that rim size?
